Clinical Psychologist (Director)
From her early experience of dealing with social anxiety for many years, Amanda was inspired to provide the acceptance and understanding to others struggling with their mental health. While working on her own well-being, she began to believe that people can benefit from professional help, especially in a country where the stigma against mental health is so strong.
This journey brought her to complete her Masters in Clinical Psychology at HELP University, where she gained the knowledge and experience to provide professional care. Her training in private centres such as Serene Psychological Services, provided her with the insight to connect deeper with each of her clients. She completed the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE) in 2023.
Amanda enjoys satisfying her never-ending curiosity about all things through learning and trying to find time for all her hobbies, like rollerskating, and TTRPGs.
Noticing many people in her life were dealing with mental health concerns but didn’t know where to go, Diana decided to pursue clinical psychology to strive for better access to mental health care for all Malaysians as she knew how crucial and neglected it was at the same time.
Diana has had the experience working with children with Autism and ADHD as an applied behaviour analysis (ABA) therapist and a school shadow aide for about a year before she completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology at a joint program at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI). Trained in a government hospital setting as well as a community centre at SOLS Health – Thrive Well, Diana had the opportunity to learn about various mental health concerns working in a multidisciplinary team of health practitioners.
Diana enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones! By hiking, trying different hobbies, eating at new eateries and having deep talks.
